Testing Services

An important part of our business involves construction monitoring and materials testing. Our construction services department is the largest and most experienced group of construction engineering technicians in middle Tennessee. Our size and philosophy allow us to offer technical experience unparalleled in the market. Our technicians, many of who have greater than 20 years of experience in the monitoring and testing of construction materials, provide valuable experience to the construction project by allowing for timely, cost effective and accurate problem resolution.

Our construction services department is lead by experienced project managers well-versed in coordinating our services with client’s needs. Because of our experience, we are equipped to provide solutions to construction problems which assist in maintaining the overall design concept, construction schedule and budgetary constraints.

We typically provide construction monitoring and materials testing as a follow up to our geotechnical investigations as a means of assurance that construction is completed in accordance with project specifications and the design intent. An added benefit is the ability to coordinate directly with the geotechnical engineer-of-record if any inconsistencies are encountered. This provides the client with the ideal geotechnical and construction testing team promoting an environment of timely and effective communication essential to the success of any construction project.

Our in-house laboratory is equipped with the tools and apparatuses essential for properly testing the components of construction, such as concrete, soil and aggregate. Our ongoing in-house quality assurance program monitors such things as cylinder breaks and average inset variation of companion cylinders. We are continually evaluating, monitoring and testing ourselves to provide our clients with superior data and services.

Our dedication to superior customer service and value-engineering provides clients with a superior product for the least amount of investment at an appropriate level of risk.
